Pay Scale: $95K - $115K Annually

THE JOB
The Senior Financial Analyst is expected to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting principles to assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including
balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. This position plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making through financial modeling,
forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, experience with financial analysis and KPI management, and a proven ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 Assist with preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and commentary for leadership review
 Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across all business units
 Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
 Partner with field operations team to deliver financial insights and KPIs to optimize regional profitability and operational efficiency
 Review and analyze job costing and project margins, identifying areas for financial improvement or process enhancement in collaboration with sales and field operations teams
 Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and general ledger account reconciliations as needed
 Coordinate with Accounting to ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
 Prepare documentation for External Auditors as needed
 Act as a finance liaison between corporate accounting, field teams, and executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on financial performance and goals
 Provide insight into process improvements to gain efficiency and accuracy where applicable

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field required, CPA or MBA a plus
 Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in accounting and/or financial reporting & analysis
 Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, and financial statement analysis
 Experience with job costing, margin analysis, and project performance tracking in a field services organization or security industry is a strong plus
 Advanced proficiency in Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables/charts, lookups) and experience with PowerPoint; familiarity with NetSuite highly desired but not required
 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and present complex financial insights in a clear, concise, and actionable format for non-financial stakeholders
 Highly analytical mindset with attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
 Possess a problem-solving aptitude and a proactive and collaborative approach to addressing challenges

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, and operating procedures. Be able to write routine reports, correspondence, and ability to effectively present information and speak to customers or employees of organization. Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills are required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
