*An electronic security integrator is an outsourced security department whose sole focus is to be a trusted advisor on how to keep employees and assets secure. A security integrator sources products from proven vendors to build electronic security systems based upon a plan developed between the customer and security professionals. Technicians take this plan and install security cameras, alarm systems, access control technology, and more. Once a system is in place, the security integrator often monitors and repairs these systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

An individual who brings a proven ability to manage and develop project delivery programs that promote operational efficiencies and drive revenue growth.
This position requires:
Strong ability to build relationships with internal departments and customers.

A subject matter expert in project management methodologies (resource planning, scheduling, utilization, change order management, subcontract management, and cost control).
Technical expertise to proactively drive and implement best practices across field installation delivery teams.
Experience leading nationally based installation teams to include subcontractors.

Initially, the Vice President of Operations will be responsible for four direct reports.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS FOR THE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS:

The operations leader will have a proven track record of experience in managing and developing project delivery programs and establishing KPIs that allow for the effective monitoring of operational efficiencies.
DELIVERY MANAGEMENT (KEY FUNCTIONS AND EXPECTATIONS):
Manage P&L activity to include forecasting, planning, and financial reviews with direct reports.
Establish and monitor KPIs that drive utilization, project slippage, gross profit performance, backlog turn, billings (DSO), inventory, and warranty spend).
Establish training budgets and plans to preserve quality and efficiency on installation work.
Develop written processes for all departments to adhere to so all projects are properly sold, managed, delivered, and billed.
Facilitate operational performance reviews (i.e., QBRs) with sales, service, and customers.
Lead the development of a comprehensive reporting and analytics infrastructure to produce timely management level dashboards to monitor the operational and revenue performance of top 20 NAVCO accounts.
Lead effective project planning, job costing, pricing, contract negotiations, and product roadmaps that strengthen relationships with customers and deliver on financial targets.
Act in accordance with the highest ethical standards, with all applicable laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where the company operates and with any approved company policies in effect.
Keep lines of communication open with other business units.
Develop and advance safety initiatives for field and office operations.
MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS:
Increased revenue and gross profit from installation on a per office basis.
Establish an efficient and effective regional operations framework that delivers a competitive advantage for NAVCO. Framework must include a robust project delivery process (i.e., sales to install to service turnover processes, project management fundamentals, etc) to ensure consistency across Region.
Increased customer satisfaction and installation performance to NAVCO’s top 20 customers.
Establish operational infrastructure (resources, team structure, leadership) to support established and emerging markets across Region.

MISSION CRITICAL OBJECTIVES (12 MONTHS):
Become familiar and knowledgeable with the entire organization, getting to know all key company stakeholders, current sales process, top customers, bid process, entire product offering, customer care, marketing materials, buying habits of customers, target markets/prospects, and core values.
Learn sales organization structure and processes.
Regular communication with sales leadership executives and EVP of operations to ensure right hand knows what left is doing as it relates to overall forecasting, sales goals, and tactics.
Establish KPIs to monitor performance of installation delivery (i.e., utilization, backlog turn, warranty spend, project slip, net charge out, DSO, gross profit performance, etc).
Update burden rates to support zone pricing model across Region.
Establish a strategic technology and training plan to support current and emerging technologies.
Gain an expert understanding of P&Ls within assigned Region.
Ensure appropriate implementation and standardization of quality processes throughout the company.
Financial analysis on the installation performance of NAVCO’s top 20 customers.
Continue to learn and understand the dynamics of existing customer relationships.
Understand pricing models to ensure competitiveness and understand how to communicate their value.
Reduce warranty spend.
