SUMMARY:
The Pre-Configuration Specialist position duties will be to oversee the execution of day-to-day functions of the department such as Pre-Configuring installation for NAVCO customers such as Chase, UNFI, and Wells Fargo.

• Excellent communication skills

• Computer skills and savvy (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Multi-tasking ability
• 5 years of experience in the field with alarm, access control and video preferred, but not necessary

HOURS: 8:00 am-5:00 pm (or as established by Manager)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Working within CRM
• The ability to work with Openeye, Verint, Hanwha and March products
• The ability to locate and upgrade firmware on cameras/NVRs.
• Work together with the shipping department to get the pre-configured product sent out to correct warehouse in time for installation
• Train on products as necessary
• Communicate and work well in a team environment
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Requirements
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, and operating procedures. Be able to write routine reports, correspondence, and ability to effectively present information and speak to customers or employees of organization. Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram-form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations.
