Pay Rate: $30.00/hr - $50.00/hr

SUMMARY
NAVCO Security Systems, is looking for an experienced Service Technician/Installer for CCTV, Alarm and Card Access Systems in the Seattle/Tacoma, Washington area. The person chosen will be servicing and installing CCTV, Alarm and Card Access jobs. We are specifically seeking a candidate with a low-voltage, C6 Contractor’s License.

A Technical Service Installation Representative is responsible for an area to service that is assigned to them by their manager. On occasion, a tech/installer may be needed in another area. A Tech/Installer is responsible for servicing equipment, wiring and terminations to the level of operation that is deemed normal by the equipment design and design specifications. These representatives service electronic equipment after it has been in operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellent Customer Service Product knowledge and repair
Process of priority scheduling abilities Inventory Control
Understanding of access, alarm, and CCTV installations Customer Training
Troubleshooting including all door hardware and devices required for monitoring and controlling an access door
Demonstrate the capability of using test equipment in troubleshooting installation problems with access control, alarm, and CCTV systems

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

High tech CCTV surveillance and card access systems. Experience with CCTV systems and/or card accesses systems. Good Driving record is mandatory. Be reliable, self-starter, professional individual with a very high customer service orientation, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Perform routine maintenance on all security equipment. This includes cleaning the VCR, monitors, and adjusting all cameras for proper focus and depth of field. Respond to all service-related calls on a daily basis and repairs any part of the security system that is non-operational. Perform small installations of CCTV and access control not to exceed 14 cameras in any one system. These installs will be primarily located in banks and convenience stores. Respond to any urgent request of his/her direct superior in order to facilitate excellent customer service. Must know basic electricity and basic networks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three (3) to Five (5) years experience preferred in:
GE, DMP, Bosch (Radionics), March, Openeye and Brivo
• Must know light to medium construction/blueprint reading
• Strong Project Management and Organizational Skills
• Networking and IP Knowledge
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office



EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
