The NAVCO 8500 combines the functionality
of a triplex digital multiplexer and a digital recorder
in one easy to use unit. The 8500 series offers high
frame rate recording, large internal storage capacity,
time lapse and motion-based recording modes, dry contact
and motion based alarms, pre- and post- alarm recording,
and automatic system configuration, so the 8500 is
ready for immediate use out of the box.
Because the NAVCO 8500 offers the functionality of a triplex digital multiplexer,
it can serve as the heart of your security system. The 8500 will accept
up to 16 video inputs and 16 alarm inputs. Two monitor outputs allow you
to view live images and play back prerecorded video simultaneously, all
without interrupting recording. The 8500’s two alarm outputs allow
you to trigger external events based on alarms or events, and programmable
macros allow the user to predetermine how the system responds to various
alarms or other events.
